Board structures

The Board meets quarterly and is supported in its work by six subgroups made up of members from the partnership.

The six subgroups that make up the board are Safeguarding Adults Review, Quality and Performance, Learning and Development, Policies and Procedures, Tackling Adult Exploitation, and Communication and Community Engagement.

The Core Partners group consists of a representative from each of the partnering agencies:

  • North Somerset Council
  • Avon and Somerset Police
  • BNSSG ICB

The Board is supported by a Board Manager.

Board membership

When joining the NSSAB, members will receive a copy of the constitution and the memorandum of understanding (MOU). This is to ensure the roles and responsibilities of both the member and the board are clearly stated.
